With 280+ aircraft in our fleet and 100+ cities in our network—with dozens of new routes in 2022 and 2023—we’re on board for you to grow with us. Interested in becoming a pilot? Gateway University Students in AABI-accredited flight programs at partner colleges and universities can fly nonstop to first officer via a prescribed time and experience-building path. Open to external applicants and JetBlue crewmembers. Gateway Select Crewmembers or external candidates with little or no flying experience can land first officer status after this rigorous training and time-building program. Open to external applicants and JetBlue crewmembers. Training takes place with our partner, CAE in Mesa, AZ. Gateway Flex Current crewmembers looking for flexibility enroute to the pilot’s seat can choose their own location for training and time-building within a defined framework. Open to JetBlue crewmembers only.​ Gateway Direct Current crewmembers can depart their current position and pursue a prescribed college education, training and time-building pathway by studying and flying with our partners to become a JetBlue pilot. Open to JetBlue crewmembers only. Training takes place with our partners, Aviator College in Fort Pierce, FL and Cape Air across their network. Gateway Family Families of crewmembers can make a Blue-line” to a first officer position through a defined education, training and time-building path. Open to family members of JetBlue crewmembers only.​ Interested in becoming a maintenance technician? Gateway Flex Coming soon! Current crewmembers with technical talent can depart their current position and choose their own location for training within a defined framework to become a JetBlue maintenance technician.
